    bypass proxy restrictions ubutnu

At work, we use proxy to browse the net. I have to configure the ip,subnet nad gateway inorder to connect to the internet. The ip isn't assigned or unique, simply at to increase the IP number by 10 in the end to have it connected.

    I'm on a ubuntu machine

What I need help is is there a way to download, browse, use torrents, open block sites in some way?
I found one solution and that is to use SHH proxy but I can't because i don't have a ssh account on the server.
HTTP tunneling? I don't know how to use it or anything but any tutorial link would be great.

If there are any other way... I will like to hear it

I haven't tried entering the proxy setting in utorrent cause I just found about it just 10 mins ago and I'm not at work.

Also, is sox5 a solution as well??
