    VPython version 3 for Lucid

I have installed Python-3.1.3 as defined in the README which comes along in the archived file from this site. http://www.python.org/download/releases/3.1.3/ . I have also used "sudo apt-get install idle" to install idle. However, I need VPython and VIdle in order to do the modeling necessary. I have been unable to find a way to make this work. Do you have any suggestions?

What about VIDLE? I'm also having a problem getting it now.

EDIT: Got it from here -- http://vpython.org/vidle/index.html
I hate not using the repositories though.
