Lightbulb Keep video cache in Chrome even after closing/browsing away

Is it possible to tell chrome not to delete the cache of a youtube video after i browse away from it? so that if i come back to the video page, the cache would still be there?

i know there are lots of methods to download youtube videos and save them etc. but i have a slightly slow connection and i don't like to wait for buffering, and i wana be able to go back and forth through youtube pages without having to re-load videos i already visited.

    Any ideas?

You could install a caching proxy on your machine and tell the browser to use the proxy instead of the direct connection.
Of course, I don't know if youtube/others have flagged their pages/videos/etc as "no-cache". Though, there are probably ways for the proxy to defeat that.
