    Question Power manager problems

    I have the next settings:








    But the problem is that my screen is never "dim" "off"...
    If I'm away for 1h, 1day ...... it still working until I don't turn it off by bash command.

    What's wrong with my settings?

    It could be a bug in 10.04, wasn't there in 8.04.

    Could be something to do with the "Set Display Brightness to:" being 100%. Basically your saying "Don't Dim" with that setting.

    Try lowering it to 75% or something, see if that has any effect.

    (Ooops just noticed your screen grab was on A/C at the top !! apologies...still might be worth a try)

    the problem is with the gconf-editor. Some settings I changed there, are making this trouble.

    Anybody could giveme the DEFAULT parameters in gconf-editor-power manager?
