    Dell d610 wifi problems

Hi. I'm new to ubuntu and installed 10.04 lts on my dell d610 earlier today. My wifi card doesn't seem to recognize any wireless networks.
(I did try typing in the network and it didn't work.)

I can't seem to figure out why. I have a feeling that it is something obvious that I need to but I can't figure out what or how to make it work.
    Thanks in advance.

If it is a stock d610 with the Broadcom wireless card then usually you can just cable in for internet access and do whatever updates there are via the update manager and then activate the wireless under System > Admin > Additional Drivers....If no cable access scroll down the following link to installing b43 drivers....
