Post Best Torrent program for Ubuntu?

Which one do you guys use and why? I'm too used to Utorrent on windows, it's light and simple. I tried Ktorrent on ubuntu but didn't like it. Transmission doesn't go as fast a Utorrent. I'm not someone who uses these things too often as I use them to download big distros like Debian, OpenSuse and some other good freebies. But I'm wondering if there's anything as simple and fast as Utorrent for Ubuntu or if there's some tweaks I should do that I'm not aware of.

    Thanks!

    If youre used to utorrent..
    youll probably really like Deluge.

I use both deluge and transmission..

I use deluge for my own torrents/uploads.....
and I use transmission for downloading torrents.

Deluge is just like utorrent, really..

Transmission is a bit different, more simple.
    But both very nice.

Re: Best Torrent program for Ubuntu?

In my days using kde I found ktorrent very good, but extremely complex.

Now that gnome is my desktop of choice, I think transmission does everything I need. It seems to be good and fast at downloading, which is all I really need, and gives no problems of any sort.

When downloading the Ubuntu iso files it regularly manages to get to the maximum speed that my ISP's line gives me, 8Mb/s, so the 690MB iso comes down in about 15 - 20 mins or less.

Check out Vuze. In a bitTorrent clients roundup, Linux Format magazine liked Vuze the best.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I just tried Transmission and Deluge and they go really fast. It seems that things have changed drastically. Although I remember my ISP doing something to prevent people using torrents from saturating the speed. Something about controlling some broadcasting ports or whatever. I think that may have affected these programs in the past. Like I said, I don't use them all too often since I only use them to download distros but today I actually found using these programs to be very good. My opinion on torrents on linux has change from night to day.

Edit: I'm going to try all the other ones suggested after these two.
