    Help with network to Vista

    Hi
My Ubuntu 10.04 dual boot PC is on my home wireless network with my main desktop running Vista and I cannot access Vista 'Program Files' directory from Ubuntu over the network.
I can see folder 'Program Files' and it has a padlock icon on it. When I click on it, I get a dialogue box with stop sign(?) & '-The Folder contents could not be displayed
You do not have the permissions necessary to view the contents of program files'.
I have been on Vista and made 'Program Files' available to share and set permission for this folder for Administrator/Everyone/Users. I still cannot access 'Program Files' folder!
Has anyone experience with accessing 'Program Files' on a network?

I do find permissions on Ubuntu & Windows a bit tricky!
I am most grateful for helpful replies to get this fixed, many thanks
