How to install mythfrontend client (24) on Ubuntu 10.10 Desktop

The subject pretty much say it. I've upgraded my BE to 24 now my remote client - which is running 23 - will not communicate to it - and I'm not sure where to find a package for 24...

I'm assuming you upgraded your backend using auto-builds, in which case you would do the same on your frontend.

4romany, just to clarify did you add the mythbuntu repo then run updates?

What is your geographical location? Here in Perth Western Australia after upgrading to 24 I found the EPG would not work at all.

Before I upgraded I did a ghost of the backend as well as the frontends just in case. Very glad I did because I really use the EPG in off-air mode (all we have here). So reverted back to 23.

I keep on looking but nobody else seems to have suffered this lack of EPG on 24, why am I the only one?

    Tony
