    MIDI

    Which option is better to hear MIDI events using Soundfonts? TiMidity++ or FluidSynth?

    I'm thinking about sound quality, and also in latency because I often use a MIDI keyboard.

    timidity is very good



    Code:
    timidity   file.mid
    will do it for you


    if you want to edit or write midi


    rosegarden using timidity will do an excellent job
