    Old version question

    Alway wondered--

Although I run 10.04 currently, I have always been fond of 9.04 since it really worked best with my particular hardware. I realize that it is "dead" but if I downloaded the old version would it be complete with the last updates that were available, or would it be it original version before updates were completed?

They never change the LiveCDs I don't think. Thats why, even though you downloaded the new cd the week after the release and installed it, there are a lot of updates, and even if you waited for the next release to come out before installing the (then previous) release, it would have even more updates.

In other words, and indeed much fewer words:
No, it won't come with all the updates.

Isn't 9.04 LTS? in which case it is still fully supported.

Well, I thought that was probably the case and made a duplicate hard drive of the updated system should I ever want to put it back in. Thanks though.

No 9.04 was not an LTS.
