    iMac issues-please help

I installed Ubuntu on my iMac. For this I had to change the booting procedure in the iMac to boot from CD. I did not get to install Ubuntu as I tested it first and found that I could not connect to the internet. I decided not to install and ejected the Ubuntu CD. On re startup the iMac would not boot as it was looking for a bootable disk in the CD Drive. I inserted a CD into the drive what I thought was my OSX installation disk but it turns out it was the Apple disk containing applications and not boot able. So now the Imac will not boot and keeps on telling me to insert a bootable disk, which I cant as there is already a disk in the drive. I cannot remove/eject this CD either. So I am stuck.
Any ideas what I can do now?

    Edit: Found solution as follows:
shut computer down, while holding the eject button on the wireless keyboard, turn computer on, eject as designed!!!
