Dear fellows of the UF PT community/subculture,
both the regulars and those who only post occasionally
I wish you all very happy holidays, regardless of what you celebrate these days. Luck in all your projects, be them programming projects or not, and let's hope the next year we still discuss smart pointers, HLL, factory classes, closures, syntactic pattern-based macros, getting internationalization to work on GTK+/Pango, etc. etc. etc.

I'm glad to see you're still around here occasionally, although the heady days of 2006-2008 or so are long gone and many people of our bunch have moved on. For me too, work takes up so much of my time these days that I barely scan the front page of the forum for interesting new threads. If I've seen that you've posted, it's probably worth a quick read.
