    Using Winscp terminal

Here is my problem. I would like to use winscp terminal as a root user. Right now, when I log in to winscp terminal, I get this error whenever I issue the sudo cmd.

winscp no tty present and no askpass program specified
    My current status:
I have Ubuntu Server 10.4, pc, and a laptop connected to the same network. I currently have Winscp installed on my pc and have used a Ubuntu account with admin rights to connect via winscp. I wish to make changes to my server from my pc and not my server directly. However, in winscp terminal, I get that error message whenever I use sudo cmd.

How can I fix this? Thank you.

I would suggest you give PuTTY a try. It works the same as a Linux terminal.

    Re: Using Winscp terminal

Thanks again. I have been trying to get terminal to work for awhile with no success. Putty needs no setup other than installing it.
