    thanks for the tutorial. this lotus notes install went smooth. here is the link where i found getlibs: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1680819

    I still need more information about installing Lotus Sametime. Is it advised to use the --force-architecture option or to repackage the .deb file (ibm-lotus-sametime-8.5.2.i586.deb)

    Just installed Notes 9 on Ubuntu 64 without problems.
    Installing it completely with no errors in the operating system
