    Flickr Downloader?

The recent leak that Yahoo! is discontinuing Delicious has made me realize how dependent I am on Flicker. Over the past few years, I've uploaded, tagged, and put into sets thousands of photos. If Flickr were to disappear, it wouldn't be the end of the world, as I still have the originals, but I would like to save the work I've done in selecting shots and tagging.

Is there any way to batch download my photostream and embed the tags in the images? I've installed FlickrEdit and Desktop Flickr Organizer, but I can't get either one to work. DFO shows only 61 of my photos. FlickrEdit hangs when I try to authenticate with Flickr.

I found a Python script called Offlickr that seems to do what I want, but I don't know how to use it.

Any other ideas or help getting one of these options to work?

    Thanks for the reply, Luigi.

I did a little more digging, and it looks like offlickr saves the metadata as XML rather than embedding it in the images, so it doesn't quite fit the bill.
