DVD creation

I have a kodak ZI 8 video camera. I am looking for a simple application to take the vidio's from the ZI8 and burn them to a DVD.
I have tried DeVeDe, Brasero, Imagination, Kino, ( works to save the completed project in a format that will not burn to a DVD). and Pitivi.

All to complex and to many steps if it works at all. I have tried to install the ARCSOFT software that came with the camera using WINE but no success.
any thoughts.

I have a Kodak Easy Share camera. This is not the same as your video camera. But, my camera can do videos also. I just hook it up to the computer and can pull the files off of it.

Now, you may be in the same boat as me. I am finding no luck on how to burn a movie to a dvd. I used Devede, Brasero, and k3b. I have the files made. But, when I try to burn them to DVD, it won't play on my computer. I am still investigating. I need to find a simple tutorial on how to create a dvd from a dvd file and from a .mov file.

I will keep you posted.
