i have installed ubuntu 10.10 in my hp pavilion dv2000 wireless in not working and my input sound is not been recognized . help me

Do you know what wireless card is in your laptop? This information will help someone know what assistance to provide.

Regarding the sound input, I assume you mean the built-in microphone. On my laptop the sound level of input for the microphone was set to "0" by default. I had to increase the input level for the microphone to work. Try going to System>Preferences>Sound, select the Input tab, make sure microphone is selected as the connector, and increase the input volume.
