switch itunes library

Gday,

got iTunes 10.1 working fine in 10.10. yay!

but. I need to open my shared library that exists on another machine. The Shift + Open iTunes trick doesnt seem to work under wine.

Any clues how i an switch my library?

At a complete Random Guess ... off the cuff so YMMV .. no warranties .. etc ...

1. backup the real iTunes folder you want to keep ( zip up the folder, whatever )
2. start iTunes
3. use iTunes preferences to move the itunes folder to the desired location, since it's currently empty this should be quick
4. exit iTunes
5. restore your backup
6. start iTunes
