I want to install glib2.0-dev butit has a dependency of libglib2.0-0 (=2.24.1-0ubuntu1) but 2.25.14-1ubuntu1 is installed. What to do? I cannot remove the newer libglib as that would remove practically half my system.

2.24.1 is the correct libglib for 10.04, if you have installed other later versions then you have made your system incompatible with this package.Originally Posted by jfreak_
