Fluid Flow Applications
Does anyone know of an open source network flow solver? Something like Flowmaster is what I'm after rather than full CFD.
If not, I think it would be possible to write something based on one of the many FEM toolkits that are available. Would anyone be interested in using, or better still, helping to develop something like this?

Re: Fluid Flow Applications
I haven't seen something similar, however for CFD there are to codes that might interest you
OpenFOAM, a complete (well nearly complete) CFD suite. Although it has a mesh generator, this is very primitive, so you have to use a third party mesh tool if you want more complex geometries

ELMER multiphysics
both run on LINUX Ubuntu pretty well
hope this helps...

Re: Fluid Flow Applications
No, this isn't really what I'm after, although OpenFOAM is an amazing package it is too complex for what I have in mind. I was wrong to suggest FEM tools, I meant to say electrical circuit simulators. I'm having a look at qucs for starters.
