How to setup deckbarx into a panel?

Im slightly confused here, ive installed dockbarx but i cannot get it to be set up as a panel like the pictures. Ive installed the awn plugin and the panel plugin. I have no idea how to change it to a panel of it's own. Also how to i remove dockbarx from my panel? when i right click there is no "remove from panel" option.

dockbarx is not a panel, it's a applet to be used on a panel.

on gnome-panel just right click to the front of the applet.

on awn remove from dock preferences-> applets

Ive seen images though that are whole panels just using it. How would i go about making a whole panel from it? . when you just add a panel then add the plugin it just makes the programs window, the pictures show, a menu button and such.

yeah, that's gnome panel. the first icon is a gnome menu then the dockbarx launcher for the rest of the icons. the previews are are from compiz, turn that on in the dockbarx settings under accessories.

on second look that might be awn with dockbarx, let me install dockbarx & see.
