    Question Compiz 'Aero Snap' + Nautilus = Fascinating Quirk

    Hey everybody,

    Just had a weird quirk happen to my system, I used a guide to emulate the 'Aero Snap' feature of Windows 7 on my Ubuntu system (works good - http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2009/11/g...nap-in-ubuntu/). All it does is when your mouse is clicked on something (like when you click + drag) the window to the left/right side of the screen for a second or two, it resizes the window to the correct side of the screen.

    Well, while exiting out of Evolution, I must have had my mouse focused on the nautilus desktop, which Compiz resized to half of my screen, the other half of the desktop unusable but both panels usable. Check out the video, it's pretty interesting:
