    Pimp my Macbook

I'm dead tired of the glowing apple logo on the back of the macbooks lcd screen and thought to hide it with a nice ubuntu sticker. But need an Ubuntu stickers that is thick enough so the light isn't glowing trough it. This have been hard to find so asking here if you know or are using any stickers that are of good quality that you can recommend to me?

How is the quality of CafePress bumper stickers? Any other places to get Linux stickers?

    I only know of THIS
Not sure if they are big enough for what you wanna do though.
How bright is that light? maybe you could put a layer of black electrical tape on there first, just trim it up with a utility knife so you don't see it, then put a sticker on it! Just a thought.

Thanks for the tip. The light is really bright and I tried several ways to try and cover it with tape, but still glowing trough. I ordered a geleskin cover from http://www.gelaskins.com/ but they didn't mentioned that the light would shine trough, so after several fails of trying to cover the bright apple and reapply the gelaskin, I ended up with an ugly gelaskin cover that had a visible mark in the middle from the tape and torn edges

I found this http://www.ihatestickers.com/nerdy-c...ntu-logo-p-133 the bottom one in black metal and size of 6 inch. Think that will look good with the aluminium macbook have and the apple in the middle I will get something to cover it with or just accept it is there...

Thanks for the reply and hope this thread will be useful for anyone else in the future

    Re: Pimp my Macbook

I just put one together for my MacBook Air 11". The priority was completely concealing the Apple logo, and allowing the light to shine through ONLY the "circle of friends" Ubuntu logo (without bleeding). You can grab my design off my personal site here. I had these guys print it for me: http://macbookdecals.com/
