    linksys wusb100 v2 issue

    Hi, new to ubuntu and having difficultly connecting to my wireless router.

    It can see the router but will not connect keeps asking for password.

    usb adapter is working 100% as i can connect with it using xp 64bit

    If your network is protected with either WEP or WPA try disabling the encryption to see if that is part of the problem.

    Some adapters are not able to connect with WPA but can with WEP, so you may have to accept that as your default.

    It says on my Linksys Wireless thing, "Connected (Secure) with 54.0 Mbps" but I'm not able to connect to the Internet for some mysterious reason. Also this website sucks when you can't contact staff members.
