    Chrome Zombie Processes

My Dad was having trouble with chrome earlier. He was trying to login to a website that only allows one session, and it wasn't even allowing him to login once. He closed out of chrome, so I checked to see if it was still running using ps -A. Sure enough, it was. So I killed it and he was able to login.

Sometimes when I shut down the computer, a chrome window will popup right before the computer shuts down, indicating that chrome still runs after I close all tabs. Is this a know bug? How can I fix it?

Perhaps the European and night time users can help me with this?
