LiveUSB and no HD to save battery

    Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible for me to use LUbuntu on a USB stick and not having any access to a hard drive.

Not that my machine would not have a hard drive but if I could use lubuntu in RAM only so it would reduce the energy necessary for HD access...

    Does this make any sense?

I have tested Puppy Linux on my laptop but gave up since wifi configuration is beyond pain... Any other *ubuntu will also do the trick for me the thing is that lubuntu requires less ram.

But Lubuntu will need a bit of hard work to achieve that.

Here is a guide for Ubuntu and it should work for Lubuntu as well.
