iMac 27 2010 microphone doesn't work

I bought an iMac 27" 2010.
Now I installed Maverick but neither the iSight microphone nor the one you plug into the jack works.
How can I do?

Android is built on linux using Java where as ubuntu is nothing but Linux.
Ubuntu is, I guess, far more faster and safer than Android(Android has on more layer). If ubuntu hits the mobile market, then, it can take its slice of market share.
