Unity expose appears to be not working

I have a netbook with Ubuntu 10.10 with the netbook unity desktop. I have read that clicking the Ubuntu logo top left of the screen should open an 'expose' style switcher of all running applications. However when I click the logo it simply opens a menu screen with large icons labeled Web, Music, Photos & Videos, Games, Email & Chat, Office, Files & Folders and Get more Apps. See attached.

What is wrong or am I mistaken about the logo being an expose switcher?

I experience the same behaviour. My screen looks just like your screenshot. I am also running Maverick UNR.

That's for a workspace selector not a Window selector. I'm experiencing the same problem

Since Google led me here, I'll chime in.

In 11.04, the keyboard shortcut for OSX Expose style is shift-alt-up_arrow.

Personally, I like to have it mapped to a hotspot on the screen( lower left corner). You can customize the initiation behavior by installing the CompizConfig settings manager. The plugin that mimics Expose is called Scale(Window Manager -> Scale). It has settings for hotspots, keyboard shortcuts and all kinds of stuff.

    Cheers!

Just to add subsequent updates have solved this issue for me.

The Ubuntu logo opens the dash, where you can search for programs and recent/common files. For the psuedo-Expose, you can click the workspace button or press Super-S.
