    Reinstall OS 9

Okay, so I need to backtrack on my old ibook clamshell.

To get the wifi working I need to reinstall OS 9 and upgrade the airport firmware. Fine.

I burnt an ISO of OS 9 to the disk and it doesnt appear when I old down Option, just the HDD.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

I don't understand the question. Did you download from within Windows? Are you trying to burn the iso as an image? What program are you trying to use?

Please explain in more detail what you are trying to do and what is not working so some additional help can be provided.

Sounds like you don't have a good iso then. You need an original OS9 disc,

    Re: Reinstall OS 9

I burnt the images for OS 8 and OS 9 from within Windows. Neither booted. I burnt at 10x speed, the lowest available.

I might have to buy a disk, but I am also afraid that after doing that it will still not boot.
