Weather in panel hogs ALL internet resources

If I have the weather enabled in my top panel it takes all my internet resources so I am unable to surf the net or send and receive emails! Originally I put this down to having a slow internet connection, but thinking about it that doesn't really seem logical.

So I wondered if anyone else had experienced the same problem, also does anyone know of a solution?

No never had that problem. Are you talking about the weather applet or the weather that shows up on your calender?

No idea. Try using +Add to Panel Weather Applet. It's a lot more customizable and cooler.
