    Re: Realtek RTL8188CE wireless driver

Ubuntu should ship the latest driver which is available on the Realtek website (2011/11/22):

Re: Realtek RTL8188CE wireless driver - SOLVED

I've got the same problem with a Toshiba NB505 working with EasyPeasy, which is based on Ubuntu. I've downloaded the driver by the link above (which is actually rtl_92ce*, but works with 8188CE) and got the same errors during the instalation. So I've made a make uninstall, make clean and tried the third kind of installation described on the readme file eaven working with kernel 2.6.32-37 and everything works fine. Probably installing the proper compat driver by Synaptic will work too.
    Good luck!!!

Does installing the realtek driver from the software center not work?
    Or via the terminal:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install realtek-driver
    ?
    --Corrytonapple----
[Toshiba L455-S5008] [Intel Pentium 2.4GHz Procesor]
    [250GB HDD;4GB RAM] [Debian Wheezy 7.0 with GNOME 3][Fedora 16]
