    Best backup/mirror software?

    Hi all!

I'm looking for backup/mirror software that:
    a) is can back up on USB drives
    b) is capable of detecting the changed data after the initial backup, keeping the regular backups quick
    c) would be easy to set up and use (even for a kid)
    d) would not compress the backups in some large gibberish files (I like my backups OS/software independent)

What's the best backup software out there for my needs?
    GA-P31-ES3G; Intel E5200 (2.5 GHz, Dual Core); nVidia GeForce 9500GT (512MB); 2GB DDR2 6400-800 RAM; TRENDnet TEW-423PI C1.2R wireless
dual boot 32-bit Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope & 32-bit Windows XP

i like clonezilla for cloning of a hdd or partition and for keeping data in sync i like grsync and luckybackup is also a good place to start. grsync and luckbackup can be found in the software center; clonezilla can be downloaded from the site.
