No mouse in games after upgrade

Hi all, I recently upgraded to 10.10 and basically everything works fine. However, in games such as quake 3 my mouse doesn't work, the cursor just doesn't move at all. I can use the keyboad, graphics and sound are fine, and the mouse works outside of the game as usual.
Any ideas how to fix this?

I am on kubuntu 10.10 64bit here, 2.6.35-22 kernel, and nvidia geforce gts 240 with 260.19.06 driver.

Same here. Tested Extreme Tux Racer (cursor existed previously).

Using xorg-edgers ppa (r300g).

Made no bug report yet...

I have the same issue, again with edgers. Everything else seems to be fine.

For me, mouse is back with the latest upgrades.
