New music player - Exaile!

Hi Synic,

i really like your player. It works very well for me but i would prefer it in my language (german).

This thread is now 62 pages long and i may have missed a solution. AFAIK til now the language is set via the locales, isn't it?

Here is my locale output:

I have a question on connecting my iPod after Exaile is started-up.
If I first plugin my ipod and then startup Exaile, it is connected.
If I first startup Exaile and then plugin the ipod, Exaile says: not connected.

How can I connect the Ipod without restarting Exaile?

ive been using exaile for a couple of months now after switching from listen, and i really like it, but there are some things that really annoy me (ive filed tickets for all of them so hopefully they should be addressed and or fixed.

I have one problem with Exaile.
All my mp3's are not added to the music libary, some where there once, then i made a rescan an they disapere.

This might sound like a weird question/request, but is there anyway to get the OSD to stay up and on top of all my other windows? Or is there an applet that I can have always open showing the Cover Art and Artist/sound etc..?

I am running Exaile 0.2.8 and you can find what you are looking for under Tools > Plugins > Desktop Cover (enable it and configure it as you like). As for the OSD staying up permanently, I can't say. I do know that by default, once Exaile is running and playing a song, you can check which song is playing (and the OSD will pop up) by hovering your mouse over the exaile icon located in your Notification Area (like the system tray in Windows).
