excuse me if i am doing this wrong, on the wrong place
but i have a problem with devede. when i convert a avi to an iso and then unpack it, the movie is a mess. it starts halfway the movie, or at the end and when i want to burn it(k3b) i get error messages.
anybody any ideas?

Why are you unpacking the ISO? Simply burn the ISO to DVD using k3b or Brasero - or is that when you get errors? What are the errors?

You can just mount the iso for testing purposes. No need to unpack as coffeecat mentioned above.

Install gmount-iso from Software Center and follow these instructions.

flc plays it but mixed up and totem says it has a g stream problem
