    Installation Problem with Ubuntu 10.10

I downloaded the ISO and installed it on a flash drive. On two occasions I booted off the flash drive and got the following message.
Unknown keyword in configuration file. It did not allow me to type anything.
The flash drive in question had a previous installation on it that had a keyword. I thought that was taken care of since I formatted the flash drive twice.
I would appreciate any assistance in this matter.

Try disconnecting the keyboard from your computer before booting the flashdrive...

if it doesn't work... try updating your motherboard's BIOS.

I've had computers trying to boot up my wireless mouse

I don't know whether I made myself clear. It boots fine from the Flash Drive. The problem is that Ubuntu asks for a key word.
I just burned a CD, and it works perfectly.
I still would like to figure out what I did to the Flash drive.

hmmm same problem here, but it booted off correctly in Virtualbox. It looks like we need a BIOS upgrade.
