    video streaming

Ok, i have to admit im kind of new to the whole linux thing so i need some help. Whenever i click the full-screen button on a streaming flash player the player expands to full-screen but the video does not. The video gets stretched in the middle and the top and bottom is either white or black. i haven't found any previous posts so I dont know if anyone else has had this problem or not, but I hope someone can help me fix it.

    Re: video streaming

Are you trying to watch an "HD" video on a traditional (not widescreen) monitor? Any widescreen content in the 16x9 aspect ratio will have black bars on top and bottom when displayed full-screen on an older 4x3 aspect ratio screen. It's not being stretched; those are the correct proportions for HD content. Since the shape of the monitor doesn't conform to the shape of the video, there are black bars on top and bottom.
