Ubuntu 10.10 installed (express option in virtual machine using Parallels 6 on an iMac running OS X 10.6.4) in a flash and like a dream. But the Parallels Tools installation failed. Install error log attached. Any ideas, folks?

Sorry at this moment I have no answer for you. What I do know that I have exactly the same problem.
The parallels log output is exactly the same. There could be a problem with the fact that I installed a 64 bit version of ubuntu. Maybe it does work for the 32 bit version, but that should be tested.
Well for the 32 bit version the same conclusion: It does not work.
Anyone else out there with a solution for us newby ubuntu in a virtual machine?

I've got the same problem. Looks like there's a thread going on the Parallels support forum, but no solutions yet.
