Tall Cafè Ubuntu
I am using Ubuntu 10.4 - and everything I have read says that i should be able to get amarok to recognise both my CDs and iPhone 3G running v4.0.2, and I should be able to rip the CD to my iPhone.
I can't even get amarok to recognise my iPhone.
When I try to copy CDs to the local collection (i.e. the HD) it does nothing - and no obvious relevant error messages - i get a couple of X Error: BadWindow errors in the console.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Solved - sort of - I gave up on Amarok. I installed Itunes on Windows XP on Virtual Box, and the new version of Virtual box can read Audio CDs.
Sadly it seems that Ubuntu has a long way to go - on this aspect anyways.
