    open window without borders?

Is it possible to open a window, like the terminal, without the borders when using gnome?

    Thanks.

If your using compiz you can go to
ccsm > effects > window decoration
and change the Decoration Windows box.

eg. to make Gnome-terminal not have decorations the box would read
    Code:
    (any ) & !(class=Gnome-terminal)

Both are great suggestions. I went with the compiz solution since it is quick and easy to switch the decoration on and off just by changing terminal profiles.

    Thanks!
