Hey everyone, I'm new to Linux and am currently running Ubuntu Desktop 10.10. I have been searching for 3 days for a list of commands for the command line. Does anyone know of a list for this version of Ubuntu?

I am not well versed in command line use, but if you go to the Ubuntu site there is a page giving some details/commands.

The command line in Ubuntu is Bash (Bourne Again Shell). It is standard to most new Linux Operating Systems.
That being said, a good reference list of commands is this. I use it quite often.
If you are looking to learn how to use the command line, I recommend The Linux Command Line, available for free from the link. It is very good and teaches the Command Line step by step.

I found this site that has been very helpful
http://www.oreillynet.com/linux/cmd/
I use this mostly when I find a cmd that is suppose to fix a problem and I don't know what the cmd or the options do.
Thanks for all the help everyone!
This a nice insight for a beginner in Unix.
