I set up a channel a while back on FreeNode for enthusiasts in animation and graphic design (and general multimedia production, although for audio production, it is probably better to use ##opensourcemusicians) using Linux. At the moment there are only a couple of users, but I'm hoping that will improve.

The channel name is ##linuxanimators, and my user is domjohnson.
