    fglrx-modaliases

    Hello everybody!

Well, Update Manager has found some updates that need to be installed, and one of those is fglrx-modaliases. It's listed under "Recommended". A description of what it is says, "Identifiers supported by the ATI graphics driver."

The problem I'm having is that I have an nVidia graphics card installed, and am using the proprietary drivers for the nVidia card. So, why does Update Manager "Recommend" I use something that seems to be geared towards ATI graphics cards?

Should I just uncheck the box and not install it? Or does it do something more that I may need?
