Everything likes to open in the upper left hand corner of the screen...

For some reason, all of my windows keep opening in the upper left hand corner of the screen (I'm going to assume this is coordinate (0,0)).

Is there a way to have them open in the middle of the screen instead? It's getting kind of annoying...

If it matters, I'm using Xfce4 and compiz-fusion.

Ah, I managed to fix it. Turns out the solution was going to the ccsm > enabling "place windows" and changing the setting from 'cascade windows' to 'center windows'.

Hopefully someone will find this useful in the future .
