Flash videos are no longer stored in /tmp. Where are they now?

Hi. I've been looking for an answer to this question for a while now, suspecting that since the last update I did to my machine caused the described behaviour (flash videos not storing themselves on /tmp.

Anyway, I found a thread here that stated the same question (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=9860374) and WTF, some admin copy/pastes some youtube's rules and closes the thread, not answering the question whatsoever. What's up with that?

So here I am, asking the same question, since it wasn't answered at all.

    Thanks for your time.

Still in /tmp.....don't close your browser window before you retrieve them.
    EasyBCD.

Opera saves them in ~/.opera/cache/?_?????/ and

    Firefox in ~/.mozilla/firefox/????????.default/Cache/

    EDIT2:

I'm using Opera 10.62, Firefox 3.6.10 (Namoroka) and Flash Player "Square" Preview 2.

    EDIT:

While the browser's cache directory sounds more logical place to store the files, /tmp was more convenient for many reasons.

Did you bother to read what the admin quoted? There is a good reason the thread was closed.

We aren't talking about YouTube videos.

It was closed for a reason. If you have a problem with it, then post in the Resolution Center.

It is against Youtube's ToU to download files that do not have a download link in the video.
