Looking for an all-in-one Ubuntu-friendly printer

    Hi there,
I've searched a little bit online for an all-in-one printer that is Ubuntu-friendly. I've discovered the Open Printing database and learned that most/all HP printers work fine. But I wanted to have some suggestions from the community.
Do you know of one that you've used and like?
I need printer (B & W is fine, but can be color as well) + scanner + photocopier.
    I don't need/want fax.
I found a Canon Pixma MP 492, but it was lacking from the open printing database (though a close model, MP 490, was indicated by a user as working perfectly with Linux). Do you know about this one?
    I'll be buying in Turkey.
    Cheers.

Definitely go for HP; great printer/scanner/fax machines.

Go to http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web...ces/index.html for info on the models and support of hplip, showing the version of hplip needed for the printer. If Lucid's hplip version 3.10.2 is not recent enough, you can download and install the latest version from HP very easily.

Wife has a PhotoSmart 6000 series that just plain works under Lucid and did under Hardy as well.
