Hi everyone,
I was messing around yesterday trying to fix what I thought was a problem with my laptop's headphone jack. In any event, I did something to mess up my Gnome alsamixer. When I open it all I get is a blank window without any sound controls. Also, if I try to open alsamixer in the terminal I get "cannot open mixer." I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling a couple of times, but it's the same deal each time.
Any ideas?
