Play music on Ubuntu from remote droid

Is there any software that will let you use a droid phone to remotely control what music is playing on your computer?

It's not a clever solution, but AndroidVNC could be used if your ubuntu box were running a VNC server. I use this to control a win box at work, and it does the trick.
