Another option is to run Tiger and use the Fink repository to install many open source apps that have been ported to Tiger.

Hummm, interesting. I wish the part of the boot-up process that involves choosing the operating system was on the motherboard so it wasn't such a risky business though. Oh well. :<
I despise having to edit all kinds of config files I've never heard of, and in very specific orders, only to get a foreboding error message spit out at me. >.<
I'm not even sure yaboot is what I'm supposed to use. It looks like it is...
