Exclamation Ubuntu in an asrock g31m-vs board

I HAVE AN ASROCK G31M-VS BOARD.
I need to have dual boot (Windows and Ubuntu 8.04). I installed Windows XP and i had to manually install the driver for the net card (and now internet connection goes fine thru windows). Then i installed ubuntu and I found that ubuntu has not all the drivers and the internet connection does not exist. What do i need to do at boot time in order ubuntu recognizes the net card?.

    Thanks for your help.

If this is fairly recent hardware then you should probably try the Ubuntu 10.10 release. You can download the Beta version now.
